Mark was fantastic and the class exceeded all expectations. This was my third “photo workshop” and was by far the best experience. Mark is a great teacher and his expertise is unparalleled. While “we” were able to produce some great results, I’m more excited by the fact that Mark has put me on a path to consistently produce superior landscape pictures. Thank you Mark.

I have to start my review commending Mark on being an honorable business owner whose primary goal is do what's best for his customers. I consider myself an advanced amateur photographer. I was primarily looking for a private guide to take me to areas around Banff I might not otherwise know about. Mark was very responsive to all my questions and eventually he recommended I consider using his co-worker Maxim as a private guide rather than going out with him (Mark). Mark stated he focuses more on teaching people how to make photographs and then doing reviews. Maxim primarily took experienced photographers out and let them do their own shooting. Mark mentioned the cost of Maxim's services were lower than going out with him. It would have been very easy for Mark not to mention this at all and simply make more money. He earned my immediate respect for considering what was best for the customer rather than for himself. As for my time with Maxim, it was a great experience. He picked me up well before dawn at our condo and we spent the next 4-5 hours going to multiple locations for what turned out to be some great photography. Maxim is an accomplished photographer and really let me do my own thing. He provided insight into local nuances of lighting and composition which I found very helpful. I strongly recommend using Rocky Mountain Photo Adventures regardless of your...
