The adventure begins with photographing the iconic Mount Rundle and Vermilion Lakes at sunrise and ends at the world-renowned Abraham Lake situated in the remote and wild landscape of the Kootenay Plains to photograph the infamous ice bubbles and unique ice formations at sunset. Our journey takes us along the renowned Bow Valley Parkway and Icefields Parkway through Banff National Park turning onto the David Thompson highway far off the beaten tourist track photographing along the way to Abraham Lake, our final destination. This tour is open to all photography skill levels from complete beginner to advanced. Photography locations may involve a short hike through snow and participants should be prepared for this and the below freezing temperatures of this mid-winter tour.
